Day #14 in Norway - Two weeks!

Today was just another one of those chill days :)  Johanna made us luch wich was divine!

Then, we went to their grandparents' house.  We went in the backyard and just ate berries off the bushes for a little while.  Ola threw an apple accross the yard in an attempt to hit Tobias... but it landed on my foot! OWIE!! haha I have a pretty good bruise.

I thought the center-piece on the table was really cute :) The flowers were real and BEAUTIFUL!

We ate a YUMMY dinner, and I got to meet Johanna's grandma's sister and her husband haha HE asked me TONS of political questions and I just felt like dying because I feel stupid when adults ask me about politics... especially when I haven't been keeping up on current issues or anything. Bleh!  I just laughed it off though.

Johanna basically emptied the little candles on the table and rolled the hot wax into a ball before she made this little guy haha she gave it to her grandma and her grandma saved it :)

We had this right after dinner and me and June didn't really like it, but they were passing around sugar so we just piled the sugar on it! haha That made it lots tastier!
Shauna, these are for you haha Tobias, Johanna's little brother, sat at popped all her zits on her back while we relaxed outside after dinner! haha

On the drive home, Johanna all of the sudden pulled over, rolled the windows down, and said, "Wanna say hi to the cows??" haha they were RIGHT next to the car! This on got up though and looked like it was going to stick its head all the way in the car so Johanna screamed and sped off haha

Ok THIS is a funny story!!!  This afternoon, Johanna was hanging laundry out to dry in the front yard wearing only a sports bra and some shorts because she was just waiting for me to get out of the shower so she could get in after her run.  So this guy drives by in a delivery truck and then turns around at the end of the street and goes back because he obviously took a wrong road.  so then he backs up and asks her how to get to the factory that is only a little ways away from her house.  He thanks her way more than needed and then leaves right?  Well when we got home from her grandparents' house, her dad said he found this piece of cardboard and read it out loud to her.  It said:

Hi to the girl that was hanging up clothes around 12 today.

This is the most special thing I have ever done, and I don’t really understand why I did it.

I drove back and I hoped to see you again, and maybe to have a conversation

I’m usually not a stalker, and I was afraid that your husband/man would open the door when I rang the doorbell, but I took the chance

Anyway, it was a nice mistake taking the wrong road and I actually hope that you want to hang out one day.

Luckily, one of your neighbors lent me a pen!

If you want to, please text me or call me (his number added here)

Like I said, this is not me at all, doing something like this, but it just hit me that it was a good idea haha

Bye,

Merico driver/student :)

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Then Tobias found a dead baby mink after we were done laughing our heads off about what had just happened with the cardboard note.
June and I were just talking about how we were going to go to bed early tonight and how we were ready to put our sweats on when Johanna asked us if we were ready to go. haha O well. Hanging out at Malin's was really fun.  My stomach has been absolutely KILLING me the past couple of days, but I don't want to be a party pooper... so I went and had fun at the BBQ and playing games with everyone :)

This is Johanna re-telling her friends the story about the delivery truck guy

Fun day, but I'm totally ready for bed! Good night my faithful followers!! :) xoxo
