Last night I was having crazy nightmares and do you know what they were about? ha! There was a big storm going on while we were going on this hike everybody kept saying was so incredible... I got blown off the cliff because the wind was blowing so hard!! HAHA!! Think I was a little scared?
The drive was about two hours and we had to take a ferry and everything. I slept pretty much the whole way!
One picture with me, one picture without me haha that's just how we roll
The mountains are such interesting shapes but they sure are beautiful :)
Welcome to the hike (We aren't sure what the name of the hike actually translates to in English)
Yeah yeah!! We were pumped!
It is kind of hard to see the measurements here, but this is the entire hike mapped out before you start. (below)
Larisa's dad was a great help. He is the one who drove us and hiked with us to make sure everyone was safe. He showed us the really nice places to take pictures and was really nice to talk to the whole way up and down. What a nice man! :)
Johanna and Larisa always have more energy than anyone else and they would run ahead of us and then just wait for us to catch up. There were SO many people from all over the world!
At this break, a man came up and asked me where I was from. He said, "Oh! I thought I heard a familiar accent! I am from Arkansas." He said he is just traveling all over by himself for 16 weeks!! I think that would be EXTREMELY lonely, but he seemed like he was just going on an adventure. What a nice man!
Some parts were really pretty steep! GREAT workout ;)
We stopped to get water from the little stream on the way up and on the way down.
I am LOVING having June here! She makes me laugh so hard at nothing!! We just talk and talk and talk and when we aren't talking we're either laughing or sleeping! haha She is so great! I'm SO grateful for the chance I have to spend time with her and Johanna. I know everyone misses them so much.
On the way back down, this is the "pond" that Johanna and Larisa swam in. It's funny because everyone in Norway just takes their clothes off like it's normal haha They swim in their underwear no matter where they are or who is watching. June and I told Johanna how we would NEVER do that and she said in Utah she wouldn't either, but here it is normal.
LOOK HOW CLOSE I GOT TO THE EDGE!!!!
Johanna was scaring EVERYONE!! Even people we didn't know were gasping at how close she was getting to the edge and how she was teasing us pretending she was falling and stuff. SO SCARY!!! I seriously was having a hard time breathing because I was so scared and some people just weren't being careful!
June and I were scared together. We kept laughing but that was just so we didn't cry! haha There was a crack on the cliff and we could have sworn the whole big piece was just going to break off because there were SO many people on it!
We ALL looked over the edge like this. I got this funny feeling like in my stomach that the ground would just fall out from under me. haha O the beauty of being scared of heights!
(Above) This is what we saw looking down the first cliff.
This is the hike!! This is what everybody comes to see! Isn't it INCREDIBLE? WOW!
This is as far as me and June would go. It was pretty far though!! At the top, we ate lunch, took lots of pictures, and laughed and talked together. It was really nice :)
There are lots of really similar pictures because everyone kept taking my camera because we all just thought it was so amazing and wanted lots of pictures so we could remember it all.
O boy was THIS scary!! I got SO close to the edge!!!
Yahoo!!! :)
Haha we were just scared together haha laughing our heads off still though!
Taking a nice break
The man we asked to take this picture was actually from the Netherlands so June got to kind of talk to him for a minute. Coolio! There were really people from all over the world here!
This bug caused QUITE the conversation! haha I killed it and Johanna freaked out! I said, "It was a mean bug though!" and we were joking like crazy. I said it practically commited suicide when it landed on Weibke's boob and then Johanna called it the boob bug! haha It was really funny because everyone was just going off about this bug that I smashed.
Johanna making her own trail
Swimming in their underwear haha
What an adventurous day! I think we are all going to sleep really well tonight!! haha Keep following! With these people, I'm positive we have many more adventures in the 14 days to come! :)

That hike looks sooooo cool!! Loved the pictures from the top... seriously amazing!! Glad you have June there for this week! Just to clarify... when you start babies on solids you keep nursing them.. so nursing is not even close to being over for us! =) Anyways... love the things you are getting to do!! Soak it all up and do as much as you can because you won't get to do something like this again for a long time!!! Learn some of the history, see all that you can see, try new foods even if they sound or look gross, sit on the beach and read your scriptures (*you can do that anywhere, but you will only be able to say you did it in Norway if you actually do!) Glad you got to go to Church... loved your sweet little testimony! Keep having fun!! Love you!
Sara Brittany and Clay would love to be there on that hike, you should share all of your adventures with her that's her world. :) have a great time.
