The other night, I drank a whole bunch of Coke and made sure I stayed awake long enough to pee so it didn't wake me up. I'm telling you what... Coke does things to me. I fell asleep at two and shortly after had a terrible nightmare (I'm saying it's because of the Coke because after the dream I woke up at 4 to pee). My family was all together for something and all of the sudden, Izaak was coughing up blood and was passed out. It was so scary and by the time I woke up, I was so worried about him!! I got to talk to him on the phone last night and I was so grateful! I miss him so much. I have a great family and I'm so grateful for them. I'm praying for Rach right now because she has a very big decision ahead of her that no one can make for her. She is trying to find out what is going on with her ankle and we are all praying for her. She is strong and dedicated... Sometimes Heavenly Father doesn't follow the plans we make for ourselves though. I'm grateful for her faith and for her willingness to serve. She is such an amazing example to me. I also love my parents and their faith at hard times and easy times. They have helped me become the person I am and they have done SO much for me. I look up to my older siblings and feel very blessed to be part of such an amazing family.
When I went home for Labor Day weekend, Rach had the opportunity to go through the Temple for the first time. She had been looking forward to this for a LONG time. They said that it was a very special experience inside. Izaak and I came up just before they were finished and talked and took pictures outside. It was fun to get to be with him just the two of us for a minute. He is my buddy.
Izaak told me he liked my flower pictures from Norway :)
Izaak was an awesome photographer for me :)
What a cutie :) I miss him SO much!!
If I had to pick my best friends in the whole world, you would be looking at them!! My relationships with each one of them have been strengthened immensely over the past three months. They are the ones I turn to for support and they are the ones I pray for on a daily basis. They are my strength and my solace.
I love them all so much.
Lots of pictures and LOTS of support :)
I am so lucky to have such great siblings!!
After dinner with everybody, we hurried home and I got to spend some time with another great family... Drew's family. He is also very blessed to have and incredible family and I really enjoyed the time I got to just be with them and listen to all of their stories and see them all together. He comes from a family with ten kids, so there is always something happening. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father was extremely smart and created families for us to be in here on Earth. I know I am never alone :)
