I haven't updated my blog for a while and I haven't even gone back and put what my earlier pictures were because I am having a busy summer. I LOVE it though!! So here is what I have been up to...
First, I got to go to Lake Powell for my first time EVER! Taylor Call invited me and Johanna to come and my mom wanted to go REALLY badly so she asked if she could come to "cook". haha We had soooooooooooooooooo much fun!
We went on a CRAZY hike one day! We had to hike in the blazing hot sun for probably two or three miles and then we got into the canyon where we had to squeeze through these crevices that I could BARELY fit through and they went everywhere! Then there was places where you had to put your back and hands on one wall and your feet on the other and you had to scoot yourself over a big drop! Then there was a place where there was a 40 ft. drop and you had to do the same thing with your hands and feet but scoot down instead. At the end, there was a ten or fifteen foot drop into a pool of water that was only about knee deep and then another drop into a pool that was about ten feet deep so we could cannonball into it and climb up to jump into the lake at the end. I was SO grateful I wore a wetsuit because I would have been SO scraped up if I hadn’t! It might sound dumb, but that day changed my life. I am normally a total wimp and I am not adventurous, but I did that ridiculous hike and LOVED it and just wanted to go on more adventures! My wakeboarding improved drastically after that and I was fearless! It was such a great feeling.
Did you know that if you rub a lizard's belly, it paralyzes it until you roll it onto it's stomach?? I learned something new :)
My next and most recent trip was to Arizona to stay for ten days with Shauna and her family. I did NOT want to leave!!
Shauna kept giving me advice about college, relationships, marriage, having kids, cooking, and much more! I loved every minute of it. She helped me decided what kind of person I want to be and how I'm ever going to make it through life. She helped me with my break-up with Broc and was just there when I needed her. Ever since I was a little girl I have looked up to her so much and she continues to amaze me. Thank you for being so incredible Shauna!!
I can't get enough of baby Kamryn! She is an angel in this home. She is seriously sent straight from heaven.
When I was putting Miranda's swimming suit on her, she looked down at her tummy and said, "I'm have a BIG belly!!" and she stuck it out as far as she could. It was SO funny! They both have little tummies that poke out :) I think they're cute
Miranda's constant question: "Can I'm color on dee ipod?" haha SO cute and practically irresistable!
We loved both of the frozen yogurt places :)
I cannot wait to see them again!!
